Manly Statment...

Okay it was unintentional, but I think this is one of my more manly
statements:

--what can I get you?

-- um, I'll have a sesame [bagel]

-- you want that toasted or any thing?

-- nah, I'm good

-- ah, straight up, got it

-- well you know; I like my bagels like I like my whiskey

History of the Internet, in motiongraphic form

It's a bit on the geeky side but still worth a watch.

"History of the Internet" by Melih Bilgil

Has anyone else noticed that Kanye West's "Heartless" video and Ralph Bakshi's 1981 movie, "American Pop," share similar animation styles. And it's more then just similar, It looks like "Heartless" uses Bakshi's signature rotoscoping style. If you haven't seen one or either yet, here are the links:

Dumb Thought of the Day...

Just for the sake of irony, I would love to meet a woman named Dr.
Phyllis Stein, just to say that I meet her.

Phyllis Stein = philistine

(huh! Huh.)

I did tell you that it was a dumb thought to begin with.

Random thoughts...

I will admit that my mind has been a little more random then normal today. On my drive home, a little thought crept into the front of my mind that amused me:  "Let the barbarian's trombones sound, for today, we conquer Milwaukee.

Beyond the amusing thought of throngs of invaders invading the Great Lakes area and that the carry a brass section with them. I was just as amused with the fact that I thought this up at all. It was all just so absurd.

Yeah, I've been like this all day. I think that I should start considering cutting my self off after my fourth litre of coffee.

$3.50 for you thoughts

Just a quote that came up when I was talking to my Aunt Beverly:

"Uncertainty is just a situation where you don't know all of the facts yet."
