Yiddlish...

Not so much English or Yiddish, but the using the Yiddish vernacular to
replace English words in everyday conversation. e.g. Schvitzing
instead of sweating, having a nosh instead of having a bite, and
kibbitz instead of chatting. Most commonly used in and around the
five-boroughs, it is still a completely unknown language in the major
parts of NW America. Except in certain deli's that say they serve
authentic east-coast style sandwiches. But they don't. They pastrami
is always too dry and what they call mustard, feh, my Bubbe wouldn't
serve that dreck to the Czar. And don't get me started on the bread.
Is it too much to ask for a caraway seed in my rye bread...
