A journal of how I am engineering my human condition

Words I wished I learned in school...

I got to learn a new word yesterday. Now to find a way to use it in everyday conversation that won't get me charged with aggravated assault:

defenestration | noun formal or humorous
the action of throwing someone or something out of a window.

DERIVATIVES
defenestrate

ORIGIN early 17th cent.: from modern Latin defenestratio(n-), from de- 'down from' + Latin fenestra 'window.'
