On a completely unrelated topic, what is the Ides of March? I do remember that Shakespeare was very concerned about it, but for the life I can't remember what it is
Project 365An idea I picked up to document the next year of my life by taking one picture a day. Let’s see where this goes. Will I post everyday? Hell no, but I'll try to post stuff every Sunday. -- T! |

Its when Julius Ceasar was whacked. Something about 'ware the ides of march' which is actually the 15th.
Oh and I like the picture too. It took a minute to load....
Yep, yep... Indeed, Shakespeare makes mention of the Ides of March in the famous line from Julius Caesar... A warning of the upcoming betrayal and attack which produces another famous line "Et tu, Brute?"... Apparently in Roman mythology/lore, the Ides of March were unlucky - for what reason I cannot recall, though. Shrug. Good play to read - the political plays are far more interesting, in my opinion. ;-)
Great Photo, BTW ;-)
The Ides of March is just a fancy way to say the 15th of March...so...we're currently heading towards the Ides of May...far less sinister.
