Incompetent until proven capable...

This supports the argument that when it comes to UA and Design,
coders have no business doing either.

New terminology...

Congenital Design Defect -- A situation where a design is lifted from another design solution that already had minor flaws and applied to the current project which is dissimilar to the original solution in the hope that if that solution work for "them" then it should work for "us." And again, utterly fails.

New terminology...

Drunk Monkey Spec (document) -- A spec or document that is so badly
thought out and written that the only reason anyone could think of
why it exists is that a Drunk Monkey(s) must have written it.

Drunk Monkey specs (documents) are most commonly found in military
and/or government documentation (but can be found in Dev and IT
documentation also), where they try to explain a complicated concept
to a laymen and utterly fail at; creating an ill-written, convoluted
spec (document) that even people in the field who know about the
topic can't make heads or tails of it.
